Emma-Jane Campbell, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Emma-Jane was born in a small rural village in the Upper Hunter in NSW. She has always loved animals; her first ever pet was a beautiful rainbow lorikeet called Li-Lo. She was always fascinated with both wild and farm animals. Emma-Jane has always looked for opportunities to work with animals.
At school, she helped to feed the poddy calves, and she worked with horses and foals for her Year 10 work experience. Although she originally moved to Canberra with her partner to study psychology, her love for animals never left her, and one day, after rescuing a stray cat, she realised it was time to follow her passion and work towards a Vet Nursing career. In June 2024, she completed her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing and wants to work towards her vet tech degree.
When she’s not working, it is common to find her curled up on the lounge with a book, a cup of tea and one of her beautiful cats, Aubergine or Oliver. She enjoys being out in nature, exploring the many beautiful reserves Canberra has to offer, and is always looking for a new place to eat.
